West Abbotsford Walk/Run for Success

The West Abbotsford Community School Society (WACSS) is excited to announce the 2nd Annual West Abbotsford Walk/Run for Success fundraising event will be held on Sunday March 4th, 2012. This 2 km walk, 5 km run, or 10km run begins at Rotary Stadium at 10 am and continues onto Discovery Trail and Clearbrook Park. For more information, or to register please click here.

My Heart&Stroke Health App – from the Heart and Stroke Foundation

This free iphone app allows you to use the Heart&Stroke Risk Assessment, Blood Pressure Action Plan and Health Check Recipe Helper Tools right on your phone. Within the Recipe Helper, when you find a recipe that you like, click on the ingredients that you need to buy and the app creates a shopping list for you. There is also a link to a library of videos from the Heart and Stroke Foundations team of Dieticians. Click on the image below to access this app.
